> The S8/S9 is €5.80 and takes 12 minutes. The taxi is €35. In Frankfurt the choice is almost always obvious.

FRA is one of Europe's easiest airport-to-city runs. The train is fast, cheap, and every 15 minutes.

## S-Bahn S8 / S9

From the Regionalbahnhof (regional station) directly beneath T1. **€5.80** single, 12 min to Hauptbahnhof, 15 min to Konstablerwache. Trains every 15 min, 04:30 to 01:00.

Buy from RMV machines (English), or use the DB Navigator app. Validate paper tickets before boarding.

## Long-distance train (Fernbahnhof)

Also inside FRA. If you're heading straight to Cologne, Munich, or beyond, ICE trains leave from the separate Fernbahnhof. No need to schlep to Hauptbahnhof.

## Taxi

Official rank outside T1 and T2. Metered. **€30–40 to central Frankfurt** including any surcharges. Card accepted in most cars — ask before boarding.

## Uber / Bolt / FreeNow

FreeNow (regulated taxis) is dominant. Uber operates in Frankfurt but often no cheaper than a taxi. Pickup: designated zone P36.

## When the taxi wins

- Landing after 01:00 (S-Bahn stopped)

- Going to Sachsenhausen or the outer suburbs

- 4 people splitting the fare
