## The Tri-City runs on the SKM

Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) sits between the three Tri-City hubs — Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia. All three are linked by the **SKM commuter train**, and there's a station a 5-minute walk from the terminal (Gdańsk Port Lotniczy).

Fares (2026):
- GDN → Gdańsk Główny (Old Town): **~6 PLN, 30 min**
- GDN → Sopot: **~5 PLN, 25 min**
- GDN → Gdynia Główna: **~7 PLN, 40 min**

Buy tickets from the platform machine or the SKM app. Validate before boarding (no gates, but conductors check).

## Bus alternative

Line 210 / 110 runs from GDN to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz and connects to trams into the Old Town. **4.80 PLN**, ~40 min. Slower than the train but drops you closer to some hotels.

## Bolt and Uber

Both work at GDN. Bolt is dominant in Poland — usually 20–30% cheaper than Uber. Pickup from the designated ride-hailing zone outside arrivals.

Fares:
- To Gdańsk Old Town: **50–70 PLN**
- To Sopot: **40–60 PLN**
- To Gdynia: **70–100 PLN**

## Taxi warnings

The official taxi rank uses branded companies (Neptun, Hallo). Metered, fair. **Avoid any unmarked car** in the parking lot offering rides — the usual 3x-fare scam runs here too.

## Ferry / cruise port

Gdynia cruise terminal: 45–60 min by SKM + short walk. Gdańsk Nowy Port: taxi/Bolt only, ~30 min from GDN.
