- **Gimpo (GMP)**: closer, faster, mostly domestic + a few regional international (Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Kansai, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei)
- **Incheon (ICN)**: farther, slower, but every international long-haul flight

- Cheaper fares (usually 15–30% less than the GMP equivalent)
- Better lounge network for premium travelers
- Duty-free selection

## Domestic connections

If you're connecting from a long-haul to Jeju, Busan, or another Korean city, most connections go through **GMP** — plan the transfer time (allow 3+ hours between ICN and GMP).
