## The rules for Brazil

**Ride apps:** Use Uber or 99 — both are cheaper and safer than street taxis.

**Cash vs card:** Cards work almost everywhere but keep some reais for kiosks and small snacks.

**Golden rule:** never take an unmarked car from someone approaching you inside the terminal. Walk to the official taxi rank or open your ride app.
