# Leaving Perth Airport (PER): Transperth train, Uber, and the T1/T2 vs T3/T4 split

Perth Airport (PER) got a proper rail link in October 2022. It reshaped the exit options — but the airport is split across two sides, and the train only serves one.

## Airport Line train (from T1/T2)

A$5.20 to Perth Underground in 18 minutes with a SmartRider card (A$5.90 cash). Every 12 minutes. If you're on Qantas Domestic or any international flight (T1), this is the answer.

## From T3/T4 (Virgin, Jetstar domestic)

No train station on this side. Take the **free inter-terminal transfer bus** to T1 for the train, or grab an Uber/taxi directly.

## Uber, Ola, Didi

A$35–55 to the CBD from any terminal. Pickup zones are signed. No airport levy scam here — Perth is cheap by Australian standards.

## Taxi

A$40–60 metered. Ranks at every terminal.
