## The rules for Spain

**Ride apps:** Cabify and FreeNow beat the taxi rank in most cities; Uber only operates in a few (Madrid, Málaga, Valencia).

**Cash vs card:** Cards are widely accepted, but keep a few euros for small bars.

**Golden rule:** never take an unmarked car from someone approaching you inside the terminal. Walk to the official taxi rank or open your ride app.
